Peggy displays are designed to run on batteries; Peggy kits come complete with a battery holder. You can also drive Peggy with a completely optional energy-efficient wall-plug AC adapter.
The US/Canada version, shown above, is regulated, Energy Star Level IV rated, and lead free (RoHS compliant). Power-strip friendly design. Includes adapter and power jack.
The international version of the Peggy ac adapter is shown above. It is also regulated, Energy Star Level IV rated, and lead free (RoHS compliant). Universal input. It comes with power jack and your choice of EUR/UK/AUS plug (VDE, UK, SAA).
Note: The power supplies for Peggy 1.0 and Peggy 2.0 are slightly different. Peggy 1.0 adapters include a high-power slider switch. For Peggy 2.0, the same switch is included with the kit, not with the power adapter.
